life can change in the blink of an eye.

there are times i feel like nothing has changed.
but reality is not as kind as to spare me that moment of relief.
i'm weary, but it doesn't stop here.
far from it.

i'm terrified at the thought of what i might become.
at the amount of regrets that i'd have accumulated when it's time.
whenever i start, these emotions come like tidal waves.
do i really know what's waiting?

and then there's one thought that really breaks me.
am i more devastated over the things i will lose than the things i have lost?
i don't know my priorities anymore.
