to-do list no.2039. currently listening to: Shelter [TVXQ- Jaejoong & Yuchun]
so the one week study break holidays start today. and with holidays come a to-do list. and to me a to-do list means struggling to live with the regret of not cancelling anything off the list that you've spent a good and long and totally unneccessary 3 hours drawing up on the first day of the holidays. which is today.
last year, i did my to-do list in passive sentences and of course it didn't work for the epitome of passiveness yours truly.
hence in a desperate attempt to maximise production and minimise sleep time mistakes, i shall proceed to draw my to-do list in the form of imperatives:
xinyi's to-do list for y3s1 short not very long holiday (25/9/09 - 4/10/09)
1. CUT my hair.(2/10) 2. COMPLETE RESEARCH for my truckload of projects. i'm so behind schedule. (27/9) 3. EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE x1000. 4. READ the pile of readings (note: locate them first). 5. WRITE the g'damn press release.(28/9) 6. WRITE the even more g'damn pr personality profile.@%FE*(! took me SO long. (1/10) 7. SECURE tickets for my w-inds. concert in hong kong.OMG WF THANK YOU!!! (25/9) 8. BUY new jacket and slippers. 9. EAT lunch at NUS engineering canteen (note: bring macey radar).no luck. (28/9) 10. SEND the car for repair already. 11. COMPLETE all to-dos by wednesday, other than no.3 which requires consistent effort for the rest of the year.impossibility.(1/10)
this is to-do list experiment no. 2039. and if it fails, modal auxiliaries or maybe present perfect tense is up next for 2040.
here i go. sleep first, start tomorrow.

piece of *toot* seems to be my favourite word these days. currently listening to: Shelter [TVXQ- Jaejoong & Yuchun]
to the point where i have nothing to say except "you know, yeah... you know." and then give a big big sigh to end the sentence.
school, or even life in general shouldn't be like that. what's with the overdose of blues and complaints?
i need my supply of optimism. i need my words to be translated into action. i think it's really not too much to ask.
so then why am i stuck here like this?

desperate. currently listening to: Oh Yeah [Kinda Still Excited]
flustered today, the entire day.
i accidentally came across the details for the w-inds. concert in hong kong. can you believe it? all my usual sources failed me. and registration for the vip tickets started yesterday!
so nervous i was that i just made a long-d call to wanfung in hk since i couldnt wait for him to reply to my email or catch him online. now i only have to wait to see if he can get his hands on the tickets. aww man you have no idea how grateful i am. i feel like i've just transferred all the load on my shoulders over to him lor.
so relieved. 8000 tickets leh. i should be able to secure one ticket at least? 随缘啦，随缘。
now i can finally do my research in peace.
oh my gosh, wf just told me that he sent the money over to the ticketing office already!! half the step done. *crosses fingers*

let me start off by saying that today was a lousy day and school has been hell and that 'yesterday' is a monday (a weekday) so it is definitely not in the perimeters of 'over the weekend' so toots to that professor but anyhows i don't care eh-eh-eh-eh-eh because...
w-inds. is going to hong kong and taiwan for their concert in november!!!!!!!

i will SO go because i am so afraid that there won't be another chance. yes that's right i must go or i'll regret for life. yes and i will go even if it is right before the exam and i'm absolutely sure that i will by hook or by hook get myself a ticket even if it is a ticket to the seat furthest away from the stage. i don't care because i must be there at any cost.
now, should i go hong kong or taiwan?
okay i have decided. hong kong because then there can be someone helping me with the tickets. i dunno a toot in taiwan, yet. oh gosh please wf you must get the tickets or else. now if only the stupid msn would let me sign in already so i can start bombarding him with messages. gosh what if the hong kong fans start lining up a week before sales start like what they did before? oh no please just let me get a ticket please please.
