currently listening to: the rain

the O Levels are over and so much has happpened since. 1/2 an hour ago, i realised that he's ALREADY in VJC. why? thanks to his supernatural athletic skills and his dedication to soccer and his amazing skills in this particular sport that finally landed him in his dream JC (not to mention his studies are extremely good too). umm... omedeto..

i was even more confused when i was informed yesterday that i'm not even an inch near entering TJC, least to say VJC. so i was thinking, haiya, forget it. 6 years is enough.

so! that shall be it~ the end of this stubborn obsession of mine~~ sobx. feeling a little depressed.

anyway, recount of the events that happened the past few days! a lot happened, actually, but i shall just highlight some really memorable ones.

22nd November!

the last day of the 'O' Levels! more importantly... it was my birthday~~~
*wahahahahahahahahaha*
so i met up with regina and juliana after the exam and we headed for tropica to get juliana's jacket, which she left behind the other day. we were 2 stops away from tropica when i realised that i FORGOT MY KEYS. immediately i was subjected to merciless chides and pokes and grumblings of my 2 friends. it wasn't that bad. i am used to it~~~ *wahahahaha* so their words were automatically blocked off by the invisible barrier that had withstood several of their expected 'attacks' over the years, while we waited for around 1 hour for my maid to come down and open that stupid door for us.

so we managed to get the jacket and changed and headed for orchard!! t'was my idea actually. i wanted to spend the money that i had collected in my 'w-inds. wallet' on w-inds.' stuff!!!

as usual, i spent my time drooling over the stuff they have at mise*s clusive and i ordered the Prime Of Life Tour photobook!!! ok, so that cost me $57, and i had spent another $10 on some other w-inds. stuff they had there. i thought my heart was aching when i handed over the money but i am convinced that it was just my imagination~ oh, while i thought i was in paradise in the shop, regina and juliana spent a long time waiting. *wahahahahaha* ok, so i'm feeling guilty already. towards juliana especially, since she had to go to her class chalet right after the trip and came out just to celebrate both our birthdays. she brought all her stuff with her and man, they weighed a TON. my hands were breaking after just helping her to carry her shoe bag around orchard road.

HMV was next (i bought stefanie sun's new album!!), then Kinokuniya (i bought the new issue of JUNON!!) then the library at orchard (i found the "sekai no chuushin de ai o sakebu" novel!!) and before we knew it, it was already time for juliana to leave for her chalet. not that time passed slowly, rather it was because we spent a long time waiting for my keys *wahahaha*, and juliana had to meet up early with the 4E1 people.

so touched that my 2 primary school friends spent the day with me. funny that we have so much to talk about even though we're not all in the same school. maybe that's how true friends should be like. anyway, thanks to the 2 of them~~

so after the trip, i went home to celebrate my birthday with my FAMILY!! *wahahaha* had a chocolate ice-cream cake for my birthday cake and received a few 'angbaos' *WAAHAHAHAHA* *** $MORE MONEY$ ***

t'was a happy day. that's all i can say. received a few presents from my friends too!! *waahaha* w-inds. stuff included~~. couldn't help laughing to myself at night when i recall the day's incidents (once again earning the " are-you-nuts-?" stare from my grandmother).

regina's birthday!!! i woke up at 3pm. *wahahaha* people ask me how i managed to sleep for so long and i tell them i was a pig my last life (then they say that i'm lame. sobx.) the moment i woke up i wished regina a happy birthday!! then i read the day away. finished the "5 nian 3 ban" book too!! *sense of accomplishment*

24 november

went back for joint admission and received the shocking news and the minimum for TJC is 8 POINTS and all the other JCs have heightened their standards as well. this means that the next JC i can choose is TPJC (and my brother warned me not to go there too). sobx.

then jiehui and i headed for whitesands as usual, only to find that it was the day for their "FIRE EVACUATION EXERCISE" and their stupid alarm switched off right after we stepped out of the building. -__-" to think we deliberately quickened our pace to get out of the building upon hearing the alarm go off.

t'was farewell night too!! it started at 6pm but i was already out of the house at 2.30pm cuz i wanted to shop around for lee tung's birthday present (belated) so i could pass it to her that night. i went to bedok mrt control station first to get my present from wanfung, waika and teng kuang. *waahaha* was a little funny cuz wanfung suddenly bowed and i bowed in return so we kept bowing to each other for some reason. then i headed for TM where i bought lee tung's present and found that i had lots of time until the meeting time with the other seniors, and it would be too late if i try to go home and come back again.

so i went to the LIBRARY!! *wahahaha* pulled judy out of her house to accompany me too. i received the present from her, xinwei, jiehui, alrina, liping and yokes too! *wahahaha*

FINALLY!! 5.30pm and we bunch of choir seniors headed for school for the farewell night!!

i was touched by the night's events, though i erroneously went out to get my certificate when shihui had called out "XINLING" instead of "XINYI". sobx. how embarrassing. but that wasn't enough to dampen my spirits!! i thought i was really enjoying myself before the performance. oh and my ah~ma, Shi Hui, and beloved junior from RSS, Cui Xia, were the MCs!!! ah~ma was really funny and i enjoyed just listening to her talk. to ah~ma: u very talented at MC-ing leh! felt so proud when i saw you there with such a glib tongue and humorous vocabulary, making all the seniors laugh uncontrollably. good job!

the performance was interesting. they had the choir boys say crack some REALLY LAME JOKES for us (i doubt i understood half of them though) and had this skit put up by the committee members that was really funny. the dance items were not bad, thought there were some technical faults here and there but it was WAAAAAAY more interesting than last year's (so i heard). i could feel their sincerity because almost everyone of them went up to perform something to entertain us. oh and i ended up hitting so many wrong notes (due to lack of practice) when we were singing 'KIMI O NOSETE', and couldn't hear myself at all cuz i was standing beside the ever-so-powerful-and-loud LEE TUNG. *wahahaha* so the point is that i sang the song horribly.

i was especially impressed by the song "to where you are", that was dedicated to Ms Tay, "who is leaving HSC next year for TKGS with a GOLD choir" (from ah~ma). it had been one of my favourite songs (especially the lyrics) and i felt that their performance really made it a memorable song for me. GOGOGO, CHOIR!!!

so the night ended in a frenzy of screams and laughter due to the committee members spraying those sticky things all over us. ah~ma was seriously trying to add more style to my hair because i ended up with lots of the stuff on my hair at the end of the day. dear jesscia helped me pick them all out.

touched! that's all i can say. i wanna sing again!!!
